Wright Sprouts is a Organic Raw Food Company

We produce a Fresh Sprout Range as well as a Raw Energy Sprouted Food Range.

Wright Sprouts grow organically grown sprouts, located in Hawke’s Bay. In our purpose built ‘Sprout House’ we grow 11 different varieties of fresh sprouts, including one native New Zealand sprout: the Whero Pea sprout.

Wright Sprouts have been growing and selling organic bean and leafy sprouts since 2006.

The sprouts are grown from certified organic seed and the operation is Organic Farms NZ Certified (OFNZ).

The business is run from a purpose built sprouting building in Napier. Raelle Connolly, Wright Sprouts Managing Director, along with her husband Terry Connolly Production Manager have their certificate in Food Safety Handling, HACCP and FSP. Raelle's team has current Food Safety Handling Certificates.

Since December 2009 we have been accredited with an Approved Food Safety Program certified by the New Zealand Food Safety Authority. All sprouts are produced under a strict HACCAP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and Food Safety Plan that is audited annually by an independent auditing company, also Organic Audit conducted by OFNZ. 

We use only approved seed suppliers and buy New Zealand seed whenever possible.

We have full confidence in our product, because we have control over the process. We know our product is safe.  Every step from seed purchase to reaching the supermarket shelf is evaluated, monitored and controlled.

In keeping with our environmental beliefs, all sprouts are packaged in reusable self-sealed plastic bags.

Wright Sprouts Up-cycles Agee jars to become Sprouting Kits for home use where we can, this is in keeping with our environmental beliefs, reducing our carbon foot print where ever we can.

Company Vision

Wright sprouts is a raw food company producing highly nutritious raw food. Consciousness of the boundaries of defining RAW Food and ensuring these boundaries are not compromised in anyway.

The company operates under a Food Safety Program, HACCP Analysis providing our customers with products of the highest quality assurance and with integrity.

As an Organic grower of sprouts, Wright Sprouts is environmentally conscious and aware, as we conduct business and food production of the impact this has on our planet and all who live within it.

Wright Sprout endeavour’s to keep our carbon footprint as small as is possible with the boundaries that it works within.

Education is a big part of Wright Sprouts focus for the future generations; we run seminar/workshop at local Organic Stores, collecting a gold coin donation for the local Hospice. These workshops are on the benefits of RAW Food and on How to Sprout
